Her debut novel, <em>Before The Dawn</em>, was published in 2014 by FriesenPress — the first in a planned trilogy following James, a shy teenage misfit, on his journey into the fantasy world of Terrain.</p> <p>The book was more than three decades in the making, written while raising two children, working full time, and completing a university degree.
